How to Use This Image Compressor Tool
1. Upload Your Image
- Click the gray upload box or drag and drop an image (
JPG, PNG, WebP)
- A preview of the image will appear
- You’ll also see the original dimensions and file size
2. Resize the Image (Optional)
- Enter new Width and/or Height in pixels
- Maintain Aspect Ratio is on by default (can be unchecked)
3. Choose Format & Quality
- Select output format: JPEG, PNG, or WebP
- Use the slider to adjust quality:
- Lower = smaller file size, but lower visual quality
- Recommended: 0.8 for JPEG, 1.0 for PNG/WebP (lossless)
4. Compress & Resize
- Click the “Compress & Resize” button
- You’ll see:
- A preview of the compressed image
- The new size and new dimensions
5. Download
- Click “Download Image”
- It will download the compressed image in your chosen format
