How to Use This Image Resizer Tool
1. Upload Your Image
- Click on the blue upload box or drag and drop your image into it.
- Supported formats:
.jpg,.jpeg,.png,.webp,.avif,.heif.
2. Preview the Image
- After uploading, a preview of the original image will appear.
- Width and height will auto-fill based on the image.
3. Adjust Resize Settings
- Width / Height: Enter new dimensions (in pixels).
- Aspect ratio is locked by default.
- Target File Size (KB)(Optional): Enter a target output size.
- Note: PNG format does not support size targeting. Tool will auto-switch to JPG.
- Output Format: Choose from JPG, PNG, WEBP, AVIF, HEIF.
- Quality (1–100): Choose output quality (lower = smaller file).
4. Resize Image
- Click the “Resize Image” button.
- The tool will process and generate:
- A preview of the resized image.
- A Download button.
- Info showing the final file size.
5. Download Resized Image
- Click the green “Download Resized Image” button.
- File is saved in the selected format.
Warnings / Errors You May See
- “No image uploaded”: Upload an image first.
- “Please enter valid dimensions”: Width/height must be positive numbers.
- “Quality must be between 1 and 100”: Self-explanatory.
- “PNG does not support size targeting. Switched to JPG.”: PNG files can’t be compressed to exact KB sizes.
- “Failed to process the image.”: Something went wrong during resizing (likely browser-related).
